American Heart Association Courses
For Healthcare Providers
Basic Life Support
The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
For healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.
We also offer ACLS EP - for experienced providers, intended for those proficient in performing BLS & ACLS skills.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units.
Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition & Stabilization (PEARS)
The AHA’s PEARS Course is designed for healthcare providers and others who might encounter pediatric emergency situations during their work, including: nurse practitioners, physician assistants, EMTs, Respiratory therapists, Outpatient clinic staff, School-based providers, and more.
Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS)
Developed by experts in stroke, emergency medicine, prehospital care, and nursing education, the ASLS curriculum is now widely used by hundreds of hospitals, fire rescue, ambulance and EMS systems, and educational institutions throughout the country and around the globe. The course is also designed to meet the staff education requirements for the premier certifications for stroke systems of care from the Joint Commission’s Advanced Certifications.
Opioid Education For Healthcare Providers
The Opioid Education for Healthcare Providers Course is designed to help clinical team members provide immediate treatment and care for opioid overdose victims. The course educates participants in the pathophysiology of opioid overdose, special considerations on how to care for overdose patients, including naloxone administration, recognizing the need for high-quality CPR, and use of a defibrillator as indicated

For Workplace & Public Safety
Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED
The AHA’s Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements, or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting.
Can be taken as just CPR/AED, just First Aid, or both combined.
Pediatric Heartsaver First Aid, CPR, AED
The AHA Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED Course is designed for anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc.
Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens
The Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction.

HSI - Child & Babysitting Safety (CABS)
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. The program teaches how to get started with a business, working with parents and children, and key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips.
Medical Emergencies (EMSEDU)
We developed a course for programs that don't require a full First Aid course, but do require discussion of medical emergencies. This course is most frequently taught to our Dental School clients.
